5kW APU
MLS designed a compact Auxiliary Power Unit featuring an air cooled compact permanent magnet alternator generating 5kW @ 28Vdc per MIL-STD-1275D. With an aluminum enclosure, the APU weighs less than 100 kg.
The APU has a capability to charge Li-IoN batteries with ON/OFF condition for extended silent watch mode.
